Nice to meet you. I’m Monica.
“Most of us have two lives. The life we live, and the unlived life within us. Between the two stands resistance.” Steven Pressfield
Feeling stuck is the worst. I can imagine it isn’t your favorite place to be, either. The most significant limitation in most lives is believing we shouldn’t feel weakness.
The biggest weakness I have ever felt in life was my inability to quit drinking alcohol. My dependence on it was unplanned, and the lack of strength to stop became more than one could bear. Moving toward God through Grace was my only option, and because of that, my whole life changed!
Giving up was the best decision I ever made, but I still find it hard to do sometimes. By giving up, I mean admitting that I am not a superhuman. What I have learned is that we all have that first day whenever we begin something new. Vulnerability takes great strength, and continuing to do something that isn’t beneficial to your health is a weakness.
You may have been taught that your feelings aren’t valid and that weakness is unacceptable. This isn’t true. Just like you, my vision can be bigger than my ability, or my thoughts can lead me to a heavy resistance inside that is uncomfortable.
2 Corinthians 12:9 states how God’s Grace is sufficient and to boast about our weaknesses so that His power will be perfect in us. It’s an invitation to depend on grace rather than keeping our excuses. This message continues to change my life.
My purpose is to help you lay aside the things and thoughts that do not bring value to you or anyone else through movement and to be mindful of the words that you store inside of you.
